Guys, when I say that Brent and Jazzma were the absolute most fun couple to work with, you know I’m telling the truth! These guys were so full of love and laughter that we couldn’t help but just click. So when we were taking their bride and groom photos, not only did we have a blast, but we were able to capture their true hearts on camera!
If you’ve been following along you know that I LOVE being able to make the most out of my locations so that it looks like we go to multiple locations, even though we only walk a few yards! So this area was a photographer’s dream come true! The day started right outside Jackson City Hall in downtown Jackson, where we got some amazing shots of the two of them with each other. We were able to move onto the steps behind them for some seated poses. From there we moved onto the courtyard for some walking shots.
Y’ALL!!! Jazzma’s dress was amazing and being able to see the train trailing behind her as she walked was just magical. I was on DRESS FLUFF DUTY as the day rolled on and I just loved it! She looked absolutely stunning and it was so sweet watching Brent watch his beautiful bride! And while I stole Jazzma away for some bridal portraits, Brent and Darrin had fun goofing off together and taking a break from all the photos.
From there we moved to the historic central station and were able to use this amazing landmark as some backdrop. The best part about this? It was literally just 5 yards away from the court house and so we didn’t waste any time with traveling or walking, we were just able to move on to another set of gorgeous photos!! The bricks and old doors just ABSOLUTELY made these pictures pop.
By this point, we were all having such a fun time that it was almost less like a photo shoot and more like a couple old friends reuniting! I love that I am able to connect with my clients and I strive to make them feel so comfortable with me and in front of the camera, that taking pictures is just casual and fun – like it should be! When we left that day, we didn’t just leave with amazing shots of an amazing couple. Instead, it felt like we made some friends. And those are the moments we live for! Brent and Jazzma, we wish you a lifetime of continued happiness and we are so honored that we were able to meet you and get to know you! I know that our paths will cross again in the future but until then, have fun friends!
