Castle Hill Pavilion Wedding Expo | Wedding Vendors

Hey y’all!! I hope your week has been good! I’m here on the blog to share the recap of last weekend at the Castle Hill Pavilion Wedding Expo. The venue featured the amazing planner, Perfection Wedding Coordination ran by Andrea and her rock star of a team! Along with several other MS Wedding Vendors that she works closely with on a weekly basis.

A Long Time Coming

Andrea had reached out to me back in October and wanted to meet up. However, both of our schedules kept conflicting each other. When I saw that she was hosting an open house at Castle Hill Pavilion, I knew I HAD to be there to support her! Fast forward a couple weeks, and she reached out to me about photographing the event! And of course I said yes!! It was such an HONOR to be able to participate in this event and Darrin and I had a blast!

So Many Amazing Vendors

We showed up early to be able to capture some of the details of the awesome setups the vendors had created and get to know everyone! We immediately made friends with all her team and the other Mississippi wedding vendors there. I’m so excited to be able to collaborate with them in the future! I mean, seriously y’all, just look at this amazing set up!!

Beautiful Tables

If you know me, you know that I’m all about the details! I love seeing all the little accents that brides put into their wedding day and watching the collaboration of all of these vendors showcasing their talents was so cool! All the elaborate floral and decor were done by Andrea with Perfection Wedding. There were also some amazing place card settings by Embbdesigns to accent it all. I LOVED looking through all the invitations. All of the linens and chair covers were provided by Perfect Wedding Coordination and I literally fell in love with everything!

Cake…Professional Cake

OH! MY! GOSH! I finally got to network with Cakes by Iris who was also a featured vendor at this event. Of course, Darrin was the first to jump in and try some of the sample cupcakes she had brought. Then convinced me to taste some too. I’ve said for my entire life that I hate cake. But after tasting her cake (and cake from Once Upon a Cupcake), I’m starting to come to the realization that I hate cake . . . unless it’s from a professional. Now, you see, there’s a lesson in all of this: professional is always better! Don’t cut corners on your wedding day, hire the best, and you’ll get the best!!

Lots of Food & Desserts

As I’ve started to introduce Darrin into the world of weddings, more specifically, wedding expos, I swear one of his biggest reasons for letting me drag him along is the food we get to try. And let me tell ya, Oscar’s Catering is the BOMB!! Darrin loved their shrimp n grits the best, but I loved their Alfredo and pork loin. If you need catering for your wedding or event, I promise you can’t go wrong with them!

In addition to the AMAZING food, there was also desserts served by Unique Kreations. They were literally the prettiest desserts I have ever seen in my life. I mean, of course they tasted amazing, but I was so surprised at how pretty it all looked!! If you want to make a show of your dessert presentation, Unique Kreations is the way to go!

Love + Film

I love being able to meet videographers because I think we need more around MS! It seems like every where I go, I can meet a wedding photographer. But wedding videographers are few and far between. I was so excited to be able to meet the girls behind Love + Film and hear all about their passion for what they do. They’re dedicated to making sure that even if you don’t see everything on the wedding day – their camera will!

For All Your Creation Needs

I have been forever searching for a creative to be able to make anything my wedding clients can imagine. And I’ve finally found him! Bruce with BCREATED is a magician when it comes to creating props, donut stands, Champagne/Wine Walls, Mr & Mrs.signs and literally anything else your imagination can come up with!! It was crazy looking at all the stuff that he has created for weddings and other events.

Entertainment & Photo booths

Photos booths are something that I can’t imagine myself getting into, so I’ll just leave it to Elite Bridals (of Elite Images) and Andrew with Firelenz Film & Foto! These guys are both amazing photographers and I loved being able to connect with them. It’s so cool to meet other photographers and be able to chat about our passions. I loved being able to capture them doing what they do best, all while listening to entertainment by Serious Business.

Serious Business literally does it all – weddings & reception entertainment, parties and church events and they even DJ! Speaking of DJ’s, Eddie Williams was also there providing sick beats for everyone to dance and party too

The Perfect Ending

Toward the end of the event, I was finally able to talk with Shari from The Beauty Bar makeup services and she was such a joy to get to know! It was the perfect way to end our time together. Her hair stylist-turned makeup artist life has turned into a passion she never knew she had! And I was SO excited to learnm about her business! I am so blessed to be able to have met so many AMAZING Mississippi Wedding vendors. I can’t wait to get to know them more. Y’all be sure to go check them out and have a great weekend!
