In this couple photoshoot, I get to reconnect with a couple I’ve previously gotten to work with! And, that’s something I absolutely LOVE about this job! All the connections and re-connections are what make this work so fulfilling!
We started off at the old Jackson Courthouse – where we got the chance to meet up and reconnect! When we started taking photos something that I hoped would never happen, actually happened. A Snake! Side note – guys, for real, I’m deathly afraid of snakes. I’ve dreaded the day that being in the south would mean I’d run into a snake during a session. I literally started balling and hyperventilating. It’s bad. Thankfully, Brent knew just what to do, and he made it disappear. But it took a moment for me to come back to my senses. While I was … well, recovering … Darrin was able to take over and capture a TON of video for them! So, it was MUCH MUCH less of a setback than I thought it would be!
Then, we headed over to the State Capitol. I just love those stone steps and architecture! Here, I was able to get a BUNCH of action shots and by the end of it, they were dancing at the entrance! Yes, DANCING! I love those pictures, and Darrin is able to get a ton of good footage as well!
Last up was the Nature Park in Flowood, MS. Let me tell you, Brent and Jazzma absolutely nailed it out here! So, as the day ended we were getting the beautiful sunlight streaming through the trees and I absolutely LOVED getting the shot of them kissing on the bridge! Brent knows how to dip and it shows!
Guys, we had such a fun time with y’all doing this couple photoshoot! We can’t wait to be able to work with you again!
